Employer-Sponsored Scholar Programs

As the largest singly-accredited community college in the nation, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is Indiana’s workforce engine. Within the College, the mission of the Workforce & Careers division is to build workforce pipelines tailored to an employer’s most critical talent needs — powered by deep collaboration with Indiana’s state agencies and regional ecosystem partners.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ works closely with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and the Indiana Department of Commerce to present a comprehensive workforce development strategy aligned to your company’s specific talent and training needs. ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ will evaluate current facilities and equipment and, where needed, co-develop plans for capital investment to ensure cutting-edge training environments. Together, we’ll also strategize additional support — such as marketing resources and wraparound services — to ensure students succeed and your workforce is future-ready.

  • ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ works with your team to identify employee requirements, gaps in the workforce, and how ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s programs can close that gap. A customized scholar program is then established to build needed skills in targeted communities. Once established, a steering committee of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ employees and company representatives will be set up to track evolving industry needs and workforce gaps to adjust the program as needed.
