Adjunct faculty work with the Employer Consultant and Program Manager to consult, develop and deliver short-term off the shelf or customized programs to meet the in-demand real-time needs of employers and community stakeholders in our area. Skills Training (non-credit) programs are short term commitments and may include delivery on campus, at an employer location or a community facility. They may also be taught online.Major Responsibilities:
- Instruct class at designated location, to meet specific training and skillset objectives to class. May also be taught online if needed.
Ìý - Maintain records on student attendance, progress, and skills mastery.
Ìý - Participate in training and professional development as needed.
- Teaching load is dictated by project, or projects, not by credit hour.

Compensations: $80.00/Contract hour
Qualifications:Qualifications vary project to project and are related to the subject matter being taught or facilitated, and client desired outcomes.Ìý Ideal candidates have experiential knowledge in the subject area, experience with adult instruction or training / facilitation, good listening skills, dynamic communication skills, computer skills that allow interface with basic systems and in-class IT equipment (training provided) and present themselves – and the College – in a professional manner.Ìý
Confidentiality of client material and projects is required at all times. Projects may be in a variety of areas – OSHA certifications, safety management, supervision, maintenance, workplace hazards, mitigation, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:- Certifications / Credentials specific for instruction of a course must be up-to-date and earned before giving instruction to a class.
- Five or more years of experience in the field of study.
- Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background check, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
- Conducts all activities with appreciation and respect for the diversity of people, styles, and culture.
- MS or Bachelor’s Degree in the field of study pertaining to courses taught.
Experience in teaching, mentoring, or instruction in an educational setting.
