¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ has agreements with 25 four-year colleges and universities in Indiana that allow our students to complete their associate degree in an approved program at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and gain automatic acceptance to transfer to one of those schools.

These agreements mean that ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and your future transfer school have agreed to a specific set of courses you need to take to earn your degree which eliminates any loss of credits and ensures you are able to complete your bachelor's degree on time.

As a transfer student, you may complete an associate degree or individual classes at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and then transfer to another college or university to continue your studies.Ìý

If you're interested in starting your college journey at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and then transferring to another school, we offer three different transfer pathways to consider:

TRANSFER CREDIT FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE TO IVY TECH

You can receive transfer credits for classes you have taken at another college or university by submitting transcripts to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ for evaluation. If your transfer credit is accepted, you can apply those credits toward earning your certificate or associate degree from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ—bringing your educational goals within reach even faster.

Submitting Transcripts

If your previous institution uses a Secure E-Transcript Service, you may request that your Secure Official transcript be emailed to us atÌýtranscripts@ivytech.edu. The E-transcript service is a very efficient way to have your transcript sent to us; in most cases, it arrives in our office the same day you request it.

Only courses with grades of C- or higher are eligible for review for credit transfer. Students are responsible for providing pertinent course descriptions and/or copies of the college catalog(s) if further documentation is needed to facilitate the review.Ìý

The ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Reverse Transfer program was created for students who start their college journey at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, then transfer to a four-year school for their bachelor’s, but haven't yet received an associate or bachelor's degree.
