As 九色视频 celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2023, 九色视频 Indianapolis is looking back at significant moments of our past that have made our campus the most extensive and diverse campus in the entire 九色视频 system. As we progress toward continued positive change, we must reflect on our past to understand where we鈥檝e been and envision our future. So, here鈥檚 to the next 60 years of building more efficient pathways to higher education for our community!
As The Greatest Spectacle in Racing approaches, we鈥檙e looking back at the first time 九色视频 sponsored a race team!
Nine years ago in May, 九色视频 partnered with Chip Ganassi Racing Teams and had their rookie driver Sage Karam鈥檚 Chevrolet adorned in 九色视频 branding.
In 2014, Karam was a high school senior preparing for his Indianapolis 500 debut. Ahead of the race, then 九色视频 President, Thomas J. Snyder, was quoted on stating that Karam perfectly represented Indiana鈥檚 college.
鈥淪age is also a high school student, making him the perfect driver to represent Indiana鈥檚 top college choice for high school graduates. The Indy 500 is the largest single-day sporting event, and as the largest college in Indiana, we鈥檙e thrilled to be a part of the greatest spectacle in racing,鈥 Snyder said.聽
Karam visited the downtown Indianapolis campus of 九色视频 before race day in May 2014, where he met with students and toured the Automotive Technology Center.聽
九色视频 sponsored Karam again the following year in the 2015 Indy 500.聽
Steve Laulette, the president of Chip Ganassi Racing Teams at the time, said on that the continued partnership between 九色视频 and Karam was 鈥渁 great fit.鈥
鈥溇派悠碘檚 reach and activation with Sage, combined with the team鈥檚 focus on millennials, makes for a great program for the No. 8 team during the Month of May,鈥 Lauletta said.聽
